This year K+S is teaming with Spertus to open up their building for all to see. Come and peak in the Lobby… take the time to go up the the Asher Library on the 8th floor… ask us to escort you to the roof terrace with one-of-a-kind views of downtown, Grant Park and Lake Michigan.

The $480M redesign of the United Airlines terminal at LAX was won by K+S, teamed with the Los Angeles office of HNTB.
United Airlines’ desire to create a terminal of the future, where the experience is both comfortable and inspirational, resulted in the selection of the K+S/ HNTB team from a shortlist of four. The team brings a history of design excellence and proven aviation experience to the 300,000 sft project, scheduled to be completed in 2017.
Don Semple is our newly licensed architect! Since joining Krueck+Sexton, Don has been Project Architect on 1730 Pennsylvania Avenue and has been integral to the teams for the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies, 1100 First Street in Washington DC, the Eisenhower Memorial Competition, and GSA Federal Office Building. He is currently working on the renovation of the Administration Building at University of Chicago, our renovation of the College of Medicine at University of Illinois Chicago, and our renovation of the United terminal at LAX.
On Tuesday, June 25, Tom Jacobs will be participating in a panel discussion entitled A Swiss and US View: Urbanism and the Future of Cities: 5, 10, and 50 years from Now. The United States Department of State announced the selection of Krueck+Sexton to lead their renovation and rehabilitation projects at oversees US embassies, consulates and diplomatic facilities. Through their newly inaugurated Design Excellence program, K+S was chosen as a visionary architect to embed the highest values of American ideals into the rich tradition of foreign diplomatic buildings.

Join Tom Jacobs at the Chicago Architecture Foundation on Wednesday 2/20 at 12:15 during their Engineers Week lunchtime talk series.
Tom will speak about Glass in Architecture, a topic that has yielded a wide range of projects in our office, including: the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies, the Crown Fountain, and our new Federal Office Building for the Design Excellence Program of the GSA.
